1.4.2 MAXIMUM PERMITTED LOAD ON OPTIONAL GRAPPLE SUSPENSION

Optionally, CW quick couplers can be equipped with a grapple suspension, see Section 1.3. The grapple
suspension is designed for mounting a grapple for transhipment work. Mounting other attachments is not
permitted.
If a grapple is attached to the optional grapple suspension, no other attachments may be coupled to the CW
quick coupler, and the lifting hook must not be used.

MAXIMUM PERMITTED LOAD FOR THE EXCAVATOR. NONE OF THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED LOADS
MAY BE EXCEEDED!
IF A GRAPPLE IS ATTACHED TO THE OPTIONAL GRAPPLE SUSPENSION, NO OTHER ATTACHMENTS MAY
BE COUPLED TO THE CW QUICK COUPLER, AND THE LIFTING HOOK MUST NOT BE USED.

1.5 SPECIFICATIONS OF THE HYDRAULIC CONTROL SYSTEM

A hydraulic CW quick coupler is operated by one of the excavator's dedicated hydraulic circuits. This hydraulic
system must at least comply with the applicable standards for hydraulic quick couplers. The hydraulic control
system must also be suitable for the specifications of the relevant CW quick coupler stated in this manual. The
user must make sure that the hydraulic control system meets the requirements, either independently or in
collaboration with the excavator supplier.
