13. The maximum permitted loads only apply if the machine is level and stable. In any other application,
reduced stability, and consequently a lower permitted load, must be taken into account.
14. It is not permitted to use the CW quick coupler as a lifting hook if an attachment is coupled to it.

The CW quick coupler may only lift loads if it has a factory-fitted lifting hook.
16. If the optional lifting hook is used, the other lifting equipment, such as hoisting belts, chains, closures,
links, etc., must have sufficient lifting capacity. These parts must also be certified.
17. If a grapple is attached to the optional grapple suspension, no other attachments may be coupled to the
CW quick coupler, and the lifting hook must not be used.
18. Attachments may only be moved if they are locked with the locking wedge or coupled to the optional
grapple suspension.
19. The operator of the machine must always make sure that there are no people within the working area and
danger area of the machine when the CW quick coupler is being used.
20. It is prohibited to be on or below the CW quick coupler, attachment, or load suspended on these at all times.
21. Limbs, loose clothing and jewellery must be kept away from moving parts of the CW quick coupler. The
appropriate personal protective equipment must be used.
22. All connections and safety devices (such as the locking wedge) must remain in place whenever the machine
is in operation. This CW quick coupler may only be used if all protective devices and safety-related devices
are present and ready for use.
23. The intervals between checks, maintenance and repairs specified in the user manual must be observed.
24. In addition to the user manual, generally applicable legal and other binding regulations with regard to
accident prevention and environmental protection must be observed, including those related to personal
protective equipment.
25. Inform service personnel before starting maintenance on the CW quick coupler.
26. If the CW quick coupler or any part of it is damaged, or no longer functions in the prescribed manner,
work must be stopped immediately. Work may only resume after the part has been repaired or replaced,
and the operation of the CW quick coupler checked again. Consult your supplier if the CW quick coupler
does not function properly, and there is no obvious solution.
27. CW quick couplers and parts of them must be disposed of at the end of their service lives in accordance
with local laws and regulations.
