Flaw
The machine fails to pick up large particles of dirt or leaves traces
of dirt behind.
Machine leaves dust on fl oor or dust comes out from side fl aps.
Dust inside the fi lter housing.
Excessive brush wear.
Main brush too noisy or generating an altered noise.
The brushes fail to turn.
Hopper does not lift.
The hopper lowers in jerks.
Dust and waste come out of the hopper.
The hopper lowers by itself.
The rear door opens by itself.
The machine does not move, or moves slowly.
The machine moves even if the forward pedal is in neutral position.
The indicator light of the motor cooling fl uid temperature lights on.
TROUBLESHOOTING (1/2)
Cause
Brush speed too slow.
Working speed too high.
Brush pressure too light.
Brush(es) worn out.
Bristles bent, or string or wire, etc., entangled in brush.
Hopper door closed
Dust suction fan faulty.
Hopper or its door not properly closed.
Filters clogged.
Flaps worn out.
No seals under fi lters.
Filters broken.
Excessive brush pressure.
Cleaning surface very abrasive.
Material wound around the brushes.
The hydraulic oil is down to zero in the system.
Hydraulic oil tap/s shut off .
Hydraulic circuit pressure too low.
Hydraulic oil fi lter/s clogged.
Hydraulic motor(s) blocked.
Gear pump worn out.
Overload.
Low pressure in the circuit (should be 150 atmospheres).
Piston seals worn out.
Gear pump worn out.
The hydraulic oil is down to zero in the system.
Hydraulic oil tap/s shut off .
Hydraulic oil fi lter/s clogged.
Hopper door open
Gear pump does not supply enough oil.
Hopper full
The door is not closed properly.
The cylinder seals are worn out.
The valve is not correctly sealed.
The cylinder seals are worn out.
The hydraulic oil is down to zero in the system.
Hydraulic oil tap/s shut off .
By-pass screw 1 (fi g.4) on variable delivery pump open.
Hydraulic oil fi lter/s clogged.
The front wheel drive hydraulic motor is damaged.
The variable delivery pump is worn out.
Parking brake engaged.

The engine water radiator fi ns are obstructed.
Low engine coolant level.

Corrective action
Increase the hydraulic motor speed.
Reduce the working speed.
Adjust the brush trace on the fl oor (see fi g. 8 and 9).
Replace the brush(es).
Remove the entangled material.
Open the door
Check the dust suction fan.
Close tight.
Clean the fi lters.
Replace the fl aps.
Fit the seals.
Replace the fi lters.
Reduce the brush pressure to minimum width.
Remove the entangled material.
Add oil.
Open the tap/s.
Adjust the pressure.
Replace the fi lter/s.
Replace the motor(s).
Replace the pump.
Empty more frequently.
Increase the pressure.
Replace the seals.
Replace the pump.
Check the level of the hydraulic oil and top up if necessary
Open the tap/s.
Replace the fi lter./s
Close the door
Increase the engine rpm.
Empty the hopper
Act on lever 5 (fi g.3) and check that the indicator light 6 (fi g.3) is ON.
Replace the seals.
Replace the valve.
Replace the seals.
Add oil.
Open the tap/s.
Close it.
Replace the fi lter/s.
Replace the motor.
Replace the pump.
Release the parking brake
Increase the engine rpm.
CONTACT THE AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE
Clean the fi ns.
Top up the fl uid.
