Bedienung und Handhabung
Die folgenden Angaben dienen der korrekten Bedienung und
Handhabung des VIDEOENDOSKOPS und des entsprechen-
den Zubehörs.
Korrektes Halten
Den Griff des VIDEOENDOSKOPES entsprechend der
Abbildung in die linke oder rechte Hand nehmen. Mit einem
solchen Kontrollgriff kann das VIDEOENDOSKOP mit einer
Hand bedient werden.
Handhabung des Schaftes

VORSICHT: Das VIDEOENDOSKOP nicht am Schaft
tragen. Den Schaft des VIDEOENDOSKOPS nicht
ziehen, spannen oder verdrehen.

VORSICHT: Der Schaft des VIDEOENDOSKOPS
darf keinesfalls geknickt oder in zu enge Schlingen
gelegt werden.
Handhabung der Ablenkungsmechanik

HINWEIS: Die neutrale Stellung der distalen Spitze hat
einen geradlinigen Verlauf, ohne jegliche Ablenkung.

VORSICHT: Beim Einführen des VIDEOENDOSKOPS
in das Betrachtungsobjekt muss sich das distale
Ende des VIDEOENDOSKOPS in gerader, nicht ab-
gewinkelter Stellung befinden.

VORSICHT: Der Ablenkhebel darf niemals
gewaltsam oder ruckartig bedient werden, um weder
das inspizierte Objekt oder das Gerät zu beschädigen

VORSICHT: Bevor das VIDEOENDOSKOP aus dem
OBJEKT entfernt wird, muss das distale Ende in die
neutrale Lage gebracht werden, da sonst Schäden
am VIDEOENDOSKOP entstehen können.

VORSICHT: Falls das distale Ende nicht mehr
über den Ablenkhebel gesteuert werden kann
(Klemmung usw.) oder sonstige Fehler an
der Ablenkungsmechanik auftreten, darf das
VIDEOENDOSKOP nicht weiterverwendet werden.

VORSICHT: Der spürbare Widerstand beim
Abwinkeln des distalen Endes mit Hilfe des
Ablenkhebels nimmt mit dem Grad der Ablenkung
zu. Die Ablenkung sanft und behutsam ohne schnelle
oder ruckartige Bewegungen bis zum Anschlag
steuern.

VORSICHT: Das Deckglas am distalen Ende
des VIDEOENDOSKOPS kann sich z. B. durch
mechanische Einwirkung lösen. Deshalb muss vor
und nach jeder Anwendung das Linsenglas auf
Beschädigung und Vorhandensein überprüft werden.

Operation and handling
The following instructions outline the correct operation
and handling of the VIDEOSCOPE and the corresponding
accessories.
Holding the device correctly
Grip the handle of the VIDEOSCOPE in your left or right
hand, as shown in the picture. With this kind of control grip,
the VIDEOSCOPE can be operated with one hand.
Handling the sheath

CAUTION: The VIDEOSCOPE must not be carried
by the sheath. Do not pull, clamp or twist the sheath
of the VIDEOSCOPE.

CAUTION: The sheath of the VIDEOSCOPE must
never be kinked or coiled up too tightly.
Handling the deflection mechanism

NOTE: The neutral position of the distal tip is straight,
without any deflection whatsoever.

CAUTION: When inserting the VIDEOSCOPE
into the object of examination, the distal tip of the
VIDEOSCOPE must be straight and not deflected.

CAUTION: The deflection lever must never be
operated with force or abruptly to avoid damaging
the object being examined or the device!

CAUTION: Before removing the VIDEOSCOPE from
the OBJECT, the distal tip must be put in the neutral
position, as otherwise the VIDEOSCOPE may be
damaged.

CAUTION: If the distal tip can no longer be properly
controlled (sticking, etc.) via the deflection lever, or if
the deflection mechanism develops any other fault,
the VIDEOSCOPE must not be used.

CAUTION: The resistance that can be felt when
deflecting the distal tip using the deflection lever
increases as the angle of deflection increases.
Actuate the deflection gently and carefully, without
any sudden or jerky movements, as far as the limit
stop.

CAUTION: The cover glass at the distal tip of the
VIDEOSCOPE may become detached, e.g., due to
mechanical forces. For this reason, it is essential to
check that the lens is undamaged and present before
and after every use.
