Gerät für Anwendung vorbereiten
Das Anschlusskabel 5 des T-CAM Kamerakopfes wird
entweder an einen TECHNO PORT Monitor oder an einen
TECHNO HUB angeschlossen. Eine Beschreibung des
TECHNO PORT Monitors befindet sich in dieser Anleitung.
Der TECHNO HUB ist ein Gerät zur Verarbeitung von Bild-
und Steuersignalen an externe Geräte in der industriellen
Endoskopie.
Wahlweise ein Fiberskop oder Endoskop (Boreskop) an
die Schnellkupplung 3 anschließen und das Bild über den
Fokus fokusieren.
Bei der Inbetriebnahme beachten Sie bitte Folgendes:
• Alle Komponenten müssen vor jedem Einsatz auf
Beschädigungen und auf Verschmutzung überprüft wer-
den.
• Auf ausreichenden Seitenabstand zu anderen Geräten
(insbesondere Hochfrequenzgeräten) und Gegenständen
ist zu achten.
• Beim Anschluss vom T-CAM Kamerakopf an den
TECHNO PORT oder TECHNO HUB sind die spezifi-
schen Anleitungen und Hinweise zur Bedienung und
Handhabung der Geräte zu beachten.

dürfen das Gerät und das Zubehör verwendet wer-
den.

HINWEIS: Beachten sie auch die allgemeinen
Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise und spezifischen Rei-
nigungshinweise dieser Anleitung sowie die Anleitun-
gen von angeschlossenem Zubehör.
Beachten Sie die folgenden Anleitungen für eine ord-
nungsgemäße Handhabung und die Pflegehinweise des
Kamerakopfes, damit die Kamera möglichst lange hält:
STECKEN SIE DAS KABEL DES
KAMERAKOPFES NICHT IN DIE BUCHSE
AM MONITOR, WENN ES FEUCHT ODER
NICHT SAUBER IST. Der Stecker muss
frei von Geweberesten und völlig sau-
ber sein. Wischen Sie Feuchtigkeit vor
dem Einstecken mit einem flusenarmen
Einmaltuch trocken.
HINWEIS: Die elektrischen Kon-

takte sind empfindlich und müssen
sorgfältig getrocknet werden.
HEBEN SIE DEN KAMERAKOPF NICHT
AM KABEL AN. Fassen Sie immer zuerst
den Kamerakopf an und dann das Kabel
und den Stecker. Das Kabel besteht aus
dünnen elektronischen Leitern und sollte
vorsichtig behandelt werden.
DAS KAMERASYSTEM NICHT IN
DIREKTEM SONNENLICHT ODER IN
EINER EXTREM HEISSEN UMGEBUNG
AUFBEWAHREN. DIE KAMERA NICHT
MIT ZU ENG AUFGEROLLTEM ODER
GEFALTETEM KABEL AUFBEWAHREN.
Das Kabel immer in losen Schlaufen von
mindestens 15 cm Durchmesser aufrollen.

Preparing the device for use
The connecting cable 5 of the T-CAM camera head is
connected to either a TECHNO PORT monitor or a TECHNO
HUB. This instruction manual contains a description of the
TECHNO PORT monitor. The TECHNO HUB is a device for
processing image and control signals to external devices in
industrial endoscopy.
Connect a fiberscope or endoscope (borescope) to the
quick-release coupling 3 and focus the image.
Please observe the following when starting up the system:
• Check all components for damage and contamination
before each use.
• Ensure adequate side clearance from other equipment (in
particular HF equipment) and objects.
• When connecting the T-CAM camera head to the
TECHNO PORT or TECHNO HUB, observe the specific
instructions and information on operation and handling the
devices.

used once the test for proper functioning has been
successfully completed.

instructions and specific cleaning instructions in this
manual as well as the instructions for connected
accessories.
Observe the following instructions for correct handling and
the care instructions for the camera head to ensure the
longest possible service life of the camera:
DO NOT INSERT THE CABLE OF THE
CAMERA HEAD INTO THE SOCKET ON
THE MONITOR IF IT IS DAMP OR NOT
CLEAN. The connector must be free of
tissue remnants and must be completely
clean. Wipe off moisture and dry with a low
lint disposable cloth before plugging in the
unit.
NOTE: The electrical contacts are

sensitive and must be dried very
carefully.
DO NOT PICK UP THE CAMERA HEAD
BY ITS CABLE. Always pick up the camera
head first, and then pick up and support
the cable and connector. The cable
consists of thin electrical conductors and
should be handled with care.
DO NOT EXPOSE THE CAMERA SYSTEM
TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR EXCESSIVE
HEAT. DO NOT STORE THE CAMERA
WITH THE CABLE COILED TOO TIGHTLY
OR FOLDED UP. Always arrange the cable
in loose coils with a diameter of at least
15 cm.
