VORSICHT: Beim Verstauen oder der Entnahme der
Geräte im Transportkoffer sind folgende Punkte zu
beachten:
• Den VIDEOENDOSKOP-Schaft nicht in verdrehtem
Zustand lagern und verwenden Sie die vorgesehene
Aussparung im Transportkoffereinsatz. Verstauen
Sie das VIDEOENDOSKOP nicht mit abgewinkeltem
Schaft und lösen Sie stets die Bremsfeststellung.
• Verstauen sie das VIDEOENDOSKOP nur, wenn
das distale Ende oder die Lichtquelle abgekühlt ist.
• Bei der Entnahme des VIDEOENDOSKOP-Schaftes
aus der Aussparung im gepolsterten Tragkoffer keine
übermäßige Kraft aufwenden und die Haupteinheit
nicht am Einführungsteil ziehend herausnehmen.
• Nicht die Bedienhebel oder Feststellungsbremsen
bedienen, wenn das VIDEOENDOSKOP im
Transportkoffer verstaut ist.

VORSICHT: Obwohl LEDs (im Vergleich zu Halo-
gen-Lampen) eine hohe Lebensdauer haben, ist ein
plötzlicher Geräteausfall nicht ausgeschlossen. Wenn
dies nicht vereinbar ist mit der jeweiligen Applikation,
müssen entsprechende Vorkehrungen getroffen
werden (z. B. durch ein kompatibles Ersatzgerät in
Bereitschaft).

VORSICHT: Bei der Entsorgung oder dem Recy-
cling von Komponenten sind die jeweils geltenden
Bestimmungen einzuhalten (Kapitel 7.4 Entsorgung).
HANDHABUNG DES INTEGRIERTEN AKKUS
Falls Probleme beim Akkubetrieb dieses Geräts auftreten,
setzen Sie sich bitte mit KARL STORZ in Verbindung.

WARNUNG: Verwenden Sie Netzteile nicht im Frei-
en. Anderenfalls kann es zu Stromschlägen, Rauch-
entwicklung oder Feuer kommen, und das Netzteil
kann beschädigt werden. Das Netzteil ist für die
Verwendung in Innenräumen bestimmt.

WARNUNG: Decken Sie das Netzteil während des
Ladevorgangs nicht ab.

WARNUNG: Nach Abschluss des Ladevorgangs
ziehen Sie stets den Netzstecker des Netzteils aus
der Steckdose.

WARNUNG: Verbrennungsgefahr: Unterbrechen
Sie sofort den Ladevorgang, und ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker des Netzteils aus der Steckdose, wenn
ungewöhnliche Wärmeentwicklung, Geruchsbildung,
Geräusche, Rauch oder ein anderes ungewöhnliches
Betriebsverhalten auftreten.

WARNUNG: Wenn der Ladevorgang nicht innerhalb
der angegebenen Ladezeit abgeschlossen ist, bre-
chen Sie ihn ab.

HINWEIS: Laden Sie den TECHNO PORT vor der
ersten Verwendung nach dem Kauf sowie nach län-
gerer Lagerung unbedingt vollständig auf.

HINWEIS: Generell nimmt die Akkuleistung mit sin-
kender Umgebungstemperatur ab. Wenn die Akku-
leistung durch niedrige Temperaturen beeinträchtigt
ist, wird sie wiederhergestellt, sobald eine normale
Temperatur erreicht wird.

CAUTION: Observe the following points when
stowing the devices away in or removing them from
the carrying case:
• Ensure that the VIDEOSCOPE sheath is not
stored in a twisted position and use the recess
provided in the carrying case insert. Do not stow
the VIDEOSCOPE away with an angled sheath and
always release the brakes.
• Only stow the VIDEOSCOPE away once the distal
tip or light source has cooled down.
• When removing the VIDEOSCOPE sheath from
the recess in the carrying case, do not apply any
excessive force and do not remove the main unit by
pulling on the insertion part.
• Do not actuate the articulation levers or brakes
when the VIDEOSCOPE is stowed in the carrying
case.

CAUTION: Although LEDs (compared to halogen
lamps) have a long useful service life, a sudden
equipment failure cannot be excluded. If this is
not compatible with the respective application,
corresponding precautions must be taken (e.g., via a
compatible replacement device ready for operation).

CAUTION: Follow local governing ordinances and
recycling plans regarding disposal or recycling of
device components (chapter 7.4 Disposal).

If problems occur during battery operation of this device,

WARNING: Do not use the power supply units
outdoors. Failure to observe this may lead to electric
shocks, smoke production or fire, and the power
supply unit may be damaged. The power supply unit
is intended for indoor use.

WARNING: Do not cover the power supply unit
during the charging procedure.

WARNING: When the charging procedure is
complete, remove the mains plug of the power
supply unit from the power outlet.

WARNING: Risk of burns: Stop the charging
procedure immediately and remove the mains plug
of the power supply unit from the power outlet if the
device generates abnormal levels of heat, odors,
or smoke, or another unusual operational behavior
occurs.

WARNING: Stop the charging procedure if it is not
completed within the specified charging period.
NOTE: It is imperative to charge the TECHNO PORT

fully prior to initial use as well as after a long period of
storage.

NOTE: As a rule, the battery performance reduces
as the ambient temperature decreases. If the battery
performance is impaired by low temperatures, it
is restored to normal levels as soon as a normal
temperature is reached.
