6.3.4 Audible Alarm Tones
The alarm tone is distinct from the heartbeat tone, keystroke tone, and pulse tone in frequency.
The alarm tones identify the alarm levels as follows:
High priority alarm: beep+beep+double+beep+pause+beep+beep+double+beep

Medium priority alarm: triple beep
⚫
Low priority alarm: the single beep

Caution
When multiple alarms of different levels coincide, the monitor selects the alarm that has
the highest level and gives visual and audible alarm indications accordingly.
