Warning
The Demo mode is for demonstration purposes only. To avoid stimulated data being
mistaken for a monitored patient's data, you must not change into Demo mode during
monitoring. Otherwise, improper monitoring and delayed treatment could result.
3.9.3 Night Mode
You can select night mode to avoid disturbing the patient during monitoring. In the night mode, the pulse
beep and key tone are off, alarm volume is set to level 2, and brightness of the screen decreases to level 1
by default.
To enter night mode, select "Menu" → "System Settings" → "General" → "Mode" → "Night Mode".
To exit night mode, select the other desirable mode in "Mode".
Warning
Verify the alarm volume and pulse beep volume settings after entering night mode. You
can adjust the settings according to your requirements. Pay attention to the potential risk if
the setting value is too low.
3.9.4 Privacy Mode
Private mode can be used when the patient information should be protected from visitors and other
non-clinical personnel. In privacy mode, the monitor does not display patient information and monitoring
data. Only the word "Privacy" displays on the screen. In the private mode, the monitor still monitors the
patient, but the monitoring data is only displayed on the central monitoring system.
The monitor has the following features after entering Private Mode:
No parameters and waveforms are displayed. The screen turns blank.

All system sounds, including alarm audio, pulse tone are muted.
⚫
The alarm lamp and technical alarm status indicator still can light up for the alarms.
⚫
Monitoring data and alarms are presented only at the central monitoring system.
⚫
To enter privacy mode, select "Menu" → "System Settings" → "General" → "Mode" → "Privacy Mode".
To exit privacy mode, press any key except

You cannot enter the private mode if a low battery alarm occurs.
Private mode is only available when the monitor is connected with the central monitrong
system (CMS) and the patient is admitted by the CMS.
3.9.5 Standby Mode
Select "Menu"→"Standby".
In Standby Mode, you can temporarily stop monitoring without turning off the monitor. Click any key to exit
from it. If your monitor is configured with touchscreen function, then touch any point of the screen to exit
from Standby Mode.
