8.3 HEATER TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
The machine does not start
(STOP button off).
The machine works regularly
but the heating times are
long.
The machine does not reach
temperatures over 100℃
quickly in heating mode.
During functioning the
machine becomes noisy and
the beater stops.
Temperatures above 93°C
cannot be selected in semi-
automatic programming.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Master switch open.
Electrical anomaly.
Fuses blown.
SLOW FLAME function active.
Product insufficient.
Missing, worn or incorrectly mounted
beater scrapers.
Missing or incorrectly assembled
hopper lid.
Faulty resistance or fluid pump.
Hopper lid assembled incorrectly
Product insufficient.
The belt slips.
SLOW FLAME function active.
REMEDIES
Close the switch.
Contact the technician.
Contact the technician.
Verify that the Slow Flame
function is disabled (key LED
off).
Work with at least 1/2 the
maximum amount of the product
foreseen for each TWIN model.
Verify that the scrapers are
correctly mounted, in good state
and that the relative thrust
springs are in seat.
Ensure the hopper lid is correctly
positioned on the lid to prevent
steam escaping.
Contact the technician.
Make sure that the hopper lid
prevents steam escaping.
Work with at least 1/2 the
maximum amount of the product
foreseen for each TWIN model.
Contact the technician to check
the belts tension and possibly
replace it.
Verify that the Slow Flame
function is disabled (key LED
off).
