CAUTION!

For all indications and warnings concerning the use of the Lithium battery pack, see the instructions
enclosed with the battery pack.

The tool fitted on the extension pole starts working immediately when the power unit is turned on. Be sure
to position the tool away from people or property. Failure to comply with the warning is potentially
dangerous for operator safety.
CAUTION

Before starting the product, make sure that the teeth of the harvesting head are not in contact with
foreign bodies and/or handling them does not create hazardous conditions
•
Never work on trees or ladders, since it is extremely dangerous.
•
Before starting work with the tool, wear protective clothes. Check that all the safety and protective
devices are functional and correctly assembled.
•
Check that all clamping screws are properly tightened (see chap. 7.1.1 tightening torques).
6.2.2 PRODUCT USE
Before starting operations with the tool, wear protective clothing and check that all the safety and protection systems
are working and mounted properly.
For proper use, it is mandatory to hold the tool firmly with both hands and switch it on via the ON/OFF switch, the tool
starts immediately.
Set the desired speed, use the Speed button.
The tool is ready for use.
CAUTION!

Use the tool only for the purposes described in par. "Product description". Any other use may cause
injuries.
•
Only activate the tool when it is inserted between the branches. Improper use causes greater wear on the
tool and does not save battery consumption.
•
Never disconnect the power connector while the tool is in use.
6.2.3 STOPPING THE PRODUCT
The tool must be turned off at the end of the work session, therefore:
•
Press the On-OFF button.
•
Take care to place the tool down, do not place its weight on the combs and/or do not bend or tension the connector
and the power cable.
•
Do not crush the cable by placing weights or the tool itself on it.

power cable and its connector.

6.3 PRODUCT HANDLING
Before moving the tool, in case of short trips, make sure that the tool is switched off by setting the switch to the OFF
position.
Once the above conditions have been met, proceed with handling by turning the harvesting head backwards with respect
to the direction of movement, ensuring that no persons, things or animals can come into contact with the tool.
In the case of moving from different sites or for long journeys, in addition to the above are, it is also prescribed to:
•
disconnect the cord from the battery.
•
store the tool in its packaging
