The conditions of the work site (slope, surface, etc.) are not taken into account in this risk, please refer to
paragraphs 3.1 and 3.2 for the additional requirements given, remembering that it is the user's responsibility
to carry out a risk assessment of the work site and the correct conditions of use of the product.
4.13.7
WHIPLASH EFFECT
Beware of kickback and upward bouncing movements generated by tools during harvesting operations. They
may cause the operator to lose their balance or control of the tool.
4.13.8
TRIPPING
The haphazard storage of material in general may constitute a tripping hazard and partial or total restriction of
escape routes in case of need.

Ensure that operating, transit and escape routes are free of obstacles and comply with current regulations.
4.13.9
CIRCUIT FAULTS
Due to possible failures, control, safety and power supply circuits/components may lose part of their
effectiveness, which may lower the safety level.
➢
Carry out periodic checks on the functional state of the devices/components on the product and all
connections.
4.13.10
LIGHTNING
Since it is a hand-held tool that is used outdoors, it is not equipped with protection against the effects of lightning.
➢
Inform the personnel in charge of maintenance and ensure that they are duly instructed in the performance
of the task, as well as aware of the residual risks present.
➢
It is forbidden to carry out any activities during adverse weather conditions (risk of lightning, rain or
thunderstorms).
4.14
ADDITIONAL HAZARD REQUIREMENTS FOR THE USE OF THE TOOL
DANGER
•
Never use the product if it is damaged, wrongly regulated or only partially assembled.
•
Do not use the product if the ON/OFF switch does not work correctly.
•
Do not use the product while operating on a ladder, scaffolding or a surface that is not the ground level and/or
not a stable surface.
•
Do not use the product near electrical cables.
•
Exercise caution and concentration on the activities you are performing by using common sense and
observing the applicable safety regulations when using the product.
•
Do not touch any type of moving parts, just as it is forbidden to carry out maintenance (routine and/or
extraordinary) with moving parts. It is a mandatory requirement to disconnect power before carrying out any
maintenance activities.
•
It is forbidden to use petrol, solvents or other flammable products to clean or wash the equipment.
•
Do not tamper with, modify and/or by-pass the guards, command, control and safety devices on the product.
