NOTE
Periodically check the integrity of the fixed guards and their fixings, paying particular attention to the
access guards to the product mechanics.
4.13
RESIDUAL RISKS
During the design phase, risk zones or parts were assessed and all necessary precautions were taken to avoid
risks to persons and damage to product components, as outlined in the previous paragraphs.
CAUTION
Periodically check that of all safety devices work properly.
Do not dismantle fixed or movable guards on the product. Do not bring foreign objects or tools into the
operation, working and maintenance area of the product.
Although the product is equipped with the above-mentioned safety systems, some risks remain that cannot be
eliminated, but can be reduced by corrective actions by the end user and by correct operating methods that are
mandatory for anyone operating on the product.
Below is a summary of the risks that remain for the product in the phases of:
normal operation

adjustment and fine-tuning
•
maintenance
•
cleaning.

4.13.1 IMPACT AND CRUSHING:
Do not access the moving parts of the product.
Risk present if the guards on the product are removed.
Risk of product parts falling off if components such as harvesting head, extension pole, handle and battery are not
properly tightened.
4.13.2
FIRE:
In the event of faults or failures, the plastic material used (e.g. sheaths, electrical cables) is self-extinguishing and
complies with current standards.
The product, being a hand-held and/or hand-carried portable product, is not equipped with its own fire-fighting
system.

The customer/user must assess the need for an adequate firefighting system in accordance with the safety and
fire prevention regulations in force in the country of the user and the internal regulations of the
site/establishment.
•
Do not use open flames or smoke near the product during operation and/or maintenance.
DANGER
In the event of a fire, always shut down the product and disconnect all power/energy sources.
