BACK-PEDALLING BRAKE
DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
• The backpedalling brake is only functional when the chain is put on properly!
If the chain has jumped off, you cannot brake with the backpedalling brake!
DANGER
• Strong braking may cause the rear wheel to block and you may lose control
when cycling.
• Always use the rim brakes as well on longer downhill rides, to avoid overhea
ting of the backpedalling brake. Otherwise, there may be a sudden or redu
ced brake output of the backpedalling brake.
Actuate the back-pedalling brake by pedalling in the opposite direction. The back-pedalling brake is
maintenance-free and requires no adjustment.
