of the holder. Use suitable tools for this (e.g. pliers).
7. Attach the calliper by tightening the two screws
a 5 mm hexagonal socket wrench.
8. Actuate the respective brake several times (min. 10x) in order
to centre the new brake linings in the brake calliper. If there
are still any grinding sounds, adjust the brake as described.
BACK-PEDALLING BRAKE
DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
• The backpedalling brake is only functional when the chain is put on pro
perly! If the chain has jumped off, you cannot brake with the backpedal
ling brake!
DANGER
• Strong braking may cause the rear wheel to block and you may lose con
trol when cycling.
• Always use the rim brakes as well on longer downhill rides, to avoid over
heating of the backpedalling brake. Otherwise, there may be a sudden or
reduced brake output of the backpedalling brake.
Actuate the back-pedalling brake by pedalling in the opposite direction. The back-pedalling brake
is maintenance-free and requires no adjustment.
BICYCLE STAND
DANGER OF DAMAGE!
• Wrong operation of the bicycle stand may cause the bicycle to fall over and
be damaged.
WARNING!
• Do not use the bicycle stand on a slope, but only on level and firm ground.
The bicycle may otherwise fall over.
OPERATING THE BICYCLE STAND
1. In order to use the bicycle, set up the bicycleand fold up the bicycle stand.
2. In order to park the bicycle hold the bicycleand fold down the bicycle stand.
