8.4.2. Emergency stop switch
The kiln must be switched off with the appropriate mains circuit breaker to shut down in the event of an emergency
(emergency stop).

When the mains circuit breaker is tripped, the entire kiln is de-energised.

The mains circuit breaker must be reset again to reset the "Emergency-Stop" function. The kiln is switched
on again and fully supplied with power at the same time.
8.4.3. Control unit

Make sure you never place the control unit on top of the hot kiln.
Description
The kiln is supplied ready for operation by the manufacturer with a preconfigured control system, including the
required program and controller settings. It is essential that you first read the relevant instruction manual for the
control system carefully!
8.4.4. Opening & closing the lid
General safety information
DANGER
Crushing risk!
When closing, the lid must be guided down using the handle. For mechanical reasons, the
lid spring cannot fully support the last few centimetres before closing. There is a risk that
the lid will suddenly fall shut just before closing. When closing the lid, always support it until
it rests completely on the kiln.

Only the machine operator is allowed to be near the kiln while the lid is being
opened and closed.
Always open the lid fully.
Unauthorised persons are not permitted in the work area.
The operating personnel must wear suitable protective clothing.
