CAUTION
Risk of personal injury and property damage:
Prepare a sufficiently large storage area with a suitable soft surface. The lid and main ring
must be placed next to each other there. Lay the kiln parts carefully and flat. Never place
the kiln parts upright on their sides.
Separating the Fusing 40/40 L
The Fusing 40/40 L kilns can be separated into two sections to make them easier to transport.
Step Description
General preparations
1 Switch off the kiln completely.
2 Pull the power plug out of the socket.
3 Open the lid.
Have at least one other person hold the lid

so it does not fall off while you work.

Using a flat head screwdriver, push the
metal collar up on the top head of the
pressure spring.
Have at least one other person hold the lid.
6 Now you can remove the gas pressure
spring from the ball head.
Attention:
If the lid is not held and opened and closed
by at least 2 people, it will drop
7 uncontrollably from this step onwards. The
manufacturer does not provide any warranty
or guarantee for personal injury or damage
to property!
Repeat the previous two steps for the

pressure spring on the other side.
Carefully close the lid. To do this, slowly
9 lower the lid on both sides with two people
until it rests on the kiln casing again.
