5. Delivery
5.1. Checking the delivery
As a rule, the kiln is delivered by a shipping provider. Immediately after delivery, check that there is no visible
damage to the packaging. If there is visible damage, unpack the kiln immediately in the presence of the driver and
check the product thoroughly for damage. Photograph any damage and document it immediately on the delivery
note. Ensure the driver countersigns the documented damage on the delivery note. Keep one copy of the complaint
for your files and inform the shipping agency immediately of the damage. Complaints submitted at a later date
cannot be considered.
5.2. Unpacking the kiln
Be sure to remove all packaging materials and protective films from the kiln.
5.3. Disposal of packaging
Take the wooden, cardboard and film packaging to an appropriate disposal point and help actively promote
environmental protection. For further information concerning the disposal of packaging material, please contact your
local authority or municipal administration.
5.4. Transport
5.4.1. General safety information

• loss of stability or placing the kiln on surfaces that are not sufficiently stable or
• a poorly prepared operating location.

5.4.2. Transporting with a pallet
Transporting the kiln on the original pallet with an industrial truck for as long as possible is best.
When transporting the kiln, only lift it at the points provided.
Use suitable forklift trucks or lifting equipment.
Pay attention to the centre of gravity of the kiln as you lift it.
