Step Description
1 Switch off the kiln completely.
2 Pull the power plug out of the socket.
3 Close the lid.

Loosen the bolts of the tightening strap on the lid
by about 1–3 turns.
Attention:
⇒ As described below, only press down the
insulating firebricks that are at the edge of the
lid.

⇒ If you press down on the bricks in the middle
of the lid when the stainless steel casing is
loose, they can fall out, or the entire lid can
collapse.
Press the edge of the insulating firebricks very
6 carefully and only slightly downwards so that all the
bricks lie flat.
Tighten the respective bolt of the tensioning strap
again by 1 to 3 turns clockwise. Do not tension the

kiln casing too tightly; otherwise, the insulating
material may be damaged.
