11. Cleaning
11.1.
General safety information
DANGER
Risk of serious personal injury or death and material damage to the kiln by touching live
parts when operating.
WARNING
Risk of serious personal injury and damage to property caused by activities on and with
the kiln by unqualified personnel.

11.2.
Cleaning the kiln
11.2.1.
Cleaning the outside of the kiln
• Clean the kiln at least once a week.
• Remove loose particles with a clean broom or industrial vacuum cleaner (pay attention to the appropriate filter
class).
• Remove other dirt with a clean, dry cloth.
• Do not use detergents, water or compressed air.
Only carry out cleaning work when the kiln is safe and de-energised.
Unplug the power plug.
Before starting work, you must check whether the kiln can be switched on and
whether there is still residual energy in the kiln.
Only have cleaning work carried out by specially trained and authorised personnel in
compliance with the instructions in the operating manual.
Ensure that the operating personnel are briefed and regularly trained.
Only clean the kiln dry, never wet, with water or compressed air.
Do not use cleaning agents.
Protect live parts from moisture.
⇒ Use personal protective equipment when cleaning and ensure appropriate work
clothing is worn.
⇒ Wear suitable respiratory protection when handling dried kiln wash.
