Never place the control unit on the hot kiln. The control unit may only be placed in the
appropriate bracket on the kiln or wall (if installed).
DANGER
Crushing risk!
When closing, the lid must be guided down using the handle. For mechanical reasons, the
lid spring cannot fully support the last few centimetres before closing. There is a risk that
the lid will suddenly fall shut just before closing. When closing the lid, always support it until
it rests completely on the kiln.
NOTE
The fusing kiln is unsuitable for firing ceramics!
1-sided heating and the corresponding heat distribution are unsuitable for firing ceramic
products.
8.2. General safety information for Fusing models
CAUTION
Risk of property damage:
Do not place any objects on the lid, as this will damage the structure of the insulating
firebricks. The insulating firebricks will break off and fall out. The manufacturer assumes no
liability or guarantee for this!
NOTE
Only the lid catch, which is located in the middle of the front of the kiln, may be used to
open the lid.
Due to the design, the models in the Fusing series have several toggle fasteners that
connect the components of the kiln casing to one another.
