14.4. Replacing the micro-fuse
14.4.1. General description
If the kiln cannot be switched on and other malfunctions are excluded, replace the fuse on the back wall of the kiln.
Possible cause
Defective heating element
(breakage or no longer
efficient due to age).
The control unit is not
working.
The electrical wiring is
faulty.
Thermocouple not
working.
Possible cause
The kiln is not supplied
with electricity.
The control unit cable is
not connected to the
furnace, or the connection
is incomplete.
In the control unit, there is
a fuse that has blown and
must be replaced.
The control unit cannot be
put into operation due to
device protection
(e.g. overtemperature).
