do with the kiln by personnel who have not been authorised, briefed, trained or are
unsuitable (unqualified).

Any work, such as installation, replacement, setting, operation, maintenance,
repairs, troubleshooting, cleaning and dismantling, should only be carried out by
specially trained and authorised personnel in compliance with the instructions in the
operating manual.
The furnace should only be operated by authorised, competent, qualified, reliable
and trained personnel over 18 (exception for training purposes and only under
supervision).
Ensure that the operating personnel are briefed and regularly trained.
