General safety information
DANGER
Risk of physical injury!
Hot surface. Do not open while hot!
⇒
Since residual moisture is removed from the
insulating firebricks during the initial firing,
the size of the kiln body can still change
minimally.
⇒
After the first few firings, it may therefore be
necessary to slightly retighten all the
tensioning straps of the stainless steel kiln
casing of the lid, main ring and floor.
⇒
Tightening straps that need to be tightened
can be recognised by their loose fit. They
can easily be moved by hand.
⇒
Check all straps from top to bottom for
loose fit.
⇒
Tighten the bolt on the corresponding
tightening strap one after the other half a
turn clockwise up to a maximum of one full
turn.
