IMONTAGGIO

Inserire il silenziatore nel tubo di scarico;
•
Posizionare il foro di fissaggio presente sulla piastra
del silenziatore in corrispondenza di quello ricavato
nelle staffe appoggiapiedi, inserire la vite e la rondel-
la dalla parte esterna e successivamente serrare il
dado "C";

•
Stringere la fascetta "D" di collegamento tubo di sca-
rico.

4B TUBI DI SCARICO

MONTAGGIO
•
Smontare i silenziatori vedi cap. 4A sez. 10;
•
Svitare i 2 grani "E" con rondella di fissaggio delle
ghiere "F" sulle teste;

Rimuovere la ghiera "F"
•
Rimuovere la guarnizione posta fra collettore e tubo
di scarico "H" e i distanziali "G";
•
Allentare le fascette "I" sul collegamento dei tubi di
scarico con la camera di espansione;
•
Rimuovere il tubo di scarico "3-4".

ATTENZIONE
Otturare i condotti di scarico sulla testa per evi-
tare che corpi estranei entrino nella camera di
scoppio.

IMONTAGGIO
•
Inserire il tubo di scarico nel rispettivo innesto sulla
camera di espansione;
•
Inserire la guarnizione e i distanziali fra collettore di

scarico e testa;
•
Posizionare la ghiera "F" nella rispettiva posizione e
serrare i 2 grani con rondella alla coppia prescritta;
•
Stringere la fascetta "I" di collegamento alla camera
di espansione.
•
Rimontare i silenziatori.

4C CAMERA DI ESPANSIONE

MONTAGGIO
•
Rimuovere dalla moto i silenziatori come descritto nel
cap. 4A di questa sezione;

•
Allentare le 2 fascette "I" di tenuta ai tubi scarico;
•
Rimuovere la camera di espansione "5" sfilandola dai
tubi scarico.

Eseguire le operazioni di smontaggio in ordine inverso.

•
Insert the silencer in the exhaust pipe;
•
Align the fixing hole in the silencer plate with the hole
in the footrest brackets and insert the screw with
washer from the outside and then tighten nut "C";
•
Tighten exhaust pipe connection clamp "D".
4B EXHAUST PIPES

ISASSEMBLY
•
Remove the silencers, see chap. 4A Section 10;
•
Unscrew the 2 grub screws "E" with washer,
responsible for securing locking rings "F" to the
cylinder heads;
•
Remove locking ring "F"
•
Remove the gasket between the manifold and exhaust
pipe "H" and spacers "G";
•
Loosen clamps "I" on the connection between the
exhaust pipes and the expansion chamber;
•
Remove the exhaust pipes "3-4".
WARNING
Plug the exhaust ports on the cylinder head to
avoid foreign bodies entering the combustion
chamber.

EASSEMBLY
•
Fit the exhaust pipe into the respective insertion seat
on the expansion chamber;
•
Fit the gasket and spacers between the exhaust
manifold and cylinder head;
•
Position the locking ring "F" and tighten the two grub
screws with washer to the prescribed torque;
•
Tighten the clamp "I" for connection to the expansion
chamber;
•
Refit the silencers.
4C EXPANSION CHAMBER

ISASSEMBLY
•
Remove the silencers from the motorcycle as
described in chap. 4A in this section;
•
Loosen the 2 clamps "I" on the exhaust pipes;
•
Remove the expansion chamber "5" by pulling it out
of the exhaust pipes.

Carry out the disassembly procedures in reverse order.
