MONTAGGIO

Smontare il coperchio alternatore e relativa

flangia svitando le 5 viti.
Smontare l'alternatore svitando il dado "B" le viti
2
di fissaggio supporti "A".
Smontare il coperchio distribuzione e relativa
3
guarnizione svitando le 12 viti di fissaggio.

Smontare la distribuzione nel seguente modo:

- Svitare la vite "C" e togliere il tendicatena "D".
- Svitare le viti "E" di fissaggio ingranaggio di-
stribuzione dell'albero a camme;
- Svitare il dado con rosetta "F" di fissaggio in-
granaggio della pompa olio;

- Sfilare dagli alberi gli ingranaggi completi di
catena.
Smontare la pompa olio "G" dal basamento mo-

tore svitando le viti a brugola. Per lo smontaggio
della pompa operare come segue (fig. 10-00):
- sfilare l'albero comando pompa "H"
4 - sfilare i cuscinetti "I" dal corpo pompa "L"
- sfilare il rotore interno "M"
- sfilare il rotore esterno "N"

IMONTAGGIO
Nel rimontare, dopo i relativi controlli e sostituzioni, in-
vertire l'ordine di smontaggio e sostituire sempre la guar-
nizione "O" tra coperchio distribuzione e il basamento.

Remove the alternator cover and relative flange

by unscrewing the 5 screws.
Remove the alternator by unscrewing nut "B" and

fixing screws of supports "A".
Remove the timing cover and relative gasket by
3
unscrewing the 12 fixing screws.
Disassemble the timing group as follows:

- Unscrew screw "C" and remove chain tensioner
"D";
- Unscrew screws "E" responsible for fixing the
camshaft timing gear;
- Unscrew nut with washer "F" responsible for
fixing the oil pump gear;
- Remove the gears from the shafts complete with
timing chain.
Remove oil pump "G" from the crankcase by

unscrewing the Allen screws. To strip down the
pump proceed as follows (fig. 10-00):
- remove the pump driveshaft "H"
- remove bearings "I" from pump body "L"
- remove internal rotor "M"
- remove external rotor "N"

HECKS
For checks and inspections refer to Section 7 chap. 2
and Section 6 chap. 9.

EASSEMBLY
After performing all the relative checks and replacements,
reassemble by performing the disassembly steps in re-
verse order; always renew the O-ring between the tim-
ing cover and crankcase.
