STRUZIONI PER LA CARICA DELLA BATTERIA
•
Rimuovere i tappi;
•
Ricaricare la batteria solo con corrente continua;
•
Collegare il cavo positivo (+) del carica batterie al polo
positivo (+) della batteria e il cavo negativo (-) del
carica batterie al polo negativo (-) della batteria;
•
Effettuare la ricarica con una corrente pari a 1/10 della
capacità nominale (Ah) della batteria fino a che la
densità dell'acido si aggira intorno al valore di 1,28;
•
Spegnere il carica batterie prima di scollegare la bat-
teria;
•
Livellare l'acido, tappare e pulire accuratamente.
IMPORTANTE
Non invertire mai il collegamento dei cavi della
batteria.
Collegare e scollegare la batteria con l'interrut-
tore d'accensione in posizione " ".
Collegare prima il cavo positivo (+) e poi quello
negativo (-).
Scollegare seguendo l'ordine inverso.
ATTENZIONE
Rimontare la batteria soltanto dopo 5/10 minuti
dal disinserimento dell'apparecchio di carica,
in quanto la batteria, continua a produrre, per
un breve periodo di tempo, del gas.
IMPORTANTE
Uno sfiato piegato o attorcigliato può causare
un innalzamento della pressione nella batteria
e danneggiarla.
ATTENZIONE
La batteria contiene acido solforico (elettrolito).
Evitare il contatto con pelle e occhi in quanto
può provocare gravi ustioni.
In caso di contatto della pelle con l'elettrolito
lavate la parte interessata con acqua abbondan-
te.
In caso di contatto con gli occhi, lavate con ac-
qua corrente per almeno 15 minuti e chiamate
un medico immediatamente.
ATTENZIONE
Caricate la batteria in luogo ben ventilato.
Portate sempre occhiali e guanti di protezione
quando operate vicino alla batteria.
Evitare l'inalazione dei gas emessi durante la
ricarica della stessa.
Le batterie producono dei gas esplosivi:
tenete lontano da fonti di calore e dal fuoco.
ATTENZIONE
Tenete la batteria lontano dalla portata dei bam-
bini.

ATTERY CHARGE INSTRUCTIONS
• Remove the plugs;
• Charge the battery exclusively with direct current;
• Connect the battery charger positive cable (+) to the
battery positive pole (+) and the battery charger nega-
tive cable (-) to the battery negative pole (-);
• Recharge the battery with a voltage of 1/10 of the
battery rated capacity (Ah) until the acid specific gravity
reaches a value of around 1.28;
• Turn off the battery charger before disconnecting the
battery;
• Level the acid, fit the plugs, and clean carefully.
IMPORTANT
Be sure to connect each battery lead to the
matching terminal.
Set the ignition switch to " " before connecting
or disconnecting the battery.
Connect the positive (+) lead first, and then the
negative (-) lead.
Disconnect following the reverse order.
WARNING
Refit the battery only 5/10 minutes after discon-
necting the charging apparatus, since the bat-
tery continues to produce gas for a short pe-
riod of time.
IMPORTANT
A bent or twisted breather tube may increase
battery internal pressure and damage it.
WARNING
The battery contains sulphuric acid (electrolyte).
Avoid contact with skin and eyes since it may
cause serious burns.
If your skin comes into contact with electrolyte,
wash the affected part with abundant water.
In case of contact with your eyes, wash them
with running water for at least 15 minutes and
call a doctor immediately.
WARNING
Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area.
Always wear safety glasses and gloves when
working near the battery.
Do not inhale the gas produced by the battery
while charging.
Batteries generate explosive gases:
keep them away from heat sources and fire.
WARNING
Keep the battery out of reach of children.
