ONTROLLI
Le possibili verifiche da effettuare sull'alternatore e sul
regolatore in caso cessi di ricaricarsi la batteria o che la
tensione non venga più regolata sono:

LTERNATORE
A motore fermo scollegare i due cavi gialli del generato-
re dal resto dell'impianto ed effettuare con un ohmmetro
i seguenti controlli:

ONTROLLO ISOLAMENTO AVVOLGIMENTI VERSO MASSA
Collegare un capo dell'ohmmetro ad uno dei due cavi
gialli e l'altro capo a massa (pacco lamellare).
Lo strumento deve indicare un valore superiore a 10 MΩ.

ONTROLLO CONTINUITÀ AVVOLGIMENTI
Collegare l'ohmmetro ai capi dei due cavi gialli.
Lo strumento deve indicare un valore di 0,2÷0,3 Ω.

ONTROLLO TENSIONE D

Collegare un voltmetro in alternata portata 200 Volt ai
capi dei due cavi gialli.
Mettere in moto il motore e verificare che le tensioni in
uscita siano comprese nei valori riportati nella seguente
tabella:

WARNING
If connections are inverted the regulator will be
irreversibly damaged.
Check that the regulator ground connections are
efficient.

HECKS
Possible checks to be carried out on the alternator and
regulator if the battery fails to re-charge or the power
supply is no longer regulated.

LTERNATOR
With the engine switched off, disconnect the two yellow
alternator cables from the rest of the system and then
carry out the following tests with a ohmmeter:

HECK WINDING ISOLATION TOWARDS GROUND
Connect one prod of the ohmmeter to one of the two
yellow cables and the other prod to ground (laminar pack).
The instrument must give a reading higher than 10 MΩ.
C
HECK WINDING CONTINUITY
Connect the two connecting prods of the ohmmeter to
the two yellow cables.
The instrument must give a reading of 0.2÷0.3 Ω.
C
HECK THE VOLTAGE OUTPUT
Connect a 200 Volt ac capacity voltmeter to the two yellow
cables.
Start the engine and check that the voltage output is
included within the values indicated in the following table:
