ONTROLLO MESSA IN FASE
Per controllo della fasatura operare come segue:
- Con motore al regime di 800÷1000 giri/min verificare
con pistola stroboscopica, che l'accensione avvenga
8° prima de P.M.S.
- In caso di necessità è possibile ridurre di 2° l'anticipo
ad altri regimi (non al minimo) collegando il cavo "A"
indicato in fig. 07-10 a massa.
- Valore del trasferro tra i 5 denti ricavati sul volano
motore ed il sensore: 0,3÷0,8 mm (vedi fig. 07-11).
N.B.
Nel caso il motore non si avvii prontamente
ruotare la chiave del commutatore di accensio-
ne in OFF poi di nuovo in ON e ripetere l'avvia-
mento.

IMING CHECK
Proceed as follows to check the timing:
- With the engine running at 800÷1000 rpm, use a strobe
gun to check that ignition occurs at 8° before T.D.C.
- If necessary, you can reduce the timing advance by 2°
at other speeds (not idle speed) by connecting cable
"A" shown in fig. 07-10, to ground.
- Air gap value between the 5 teeth on the flywheel and
the sensor: 0.3÷0.8 mm (see fig. 07-11).
N.B.
If the engine fails to start readily, set the ignition
key to OFF and then set it to ON again and repeat
the start procedure.
