ONTROLLO
Controllare che le sedi e lo spillo conico non siano con-
sumati, che la valvola gas non sia rovinata, che il galleg-
giante non sia forato, e che gli anelli e guarnizione di
tenuta siano in ottimo stato altrimenti sostituirli. Per quan-
to riguarda i fori dei getti si sconsiglia nel modo più asso-
luto di adoperare fili di acciaio per pulirli perché potreb-
bero alternare la carburazione; per la suddetta opera-
zione consigliamo di adoperare fili di nylon o di ottone.

IMONTAGGIO
Per le operazioni di rimontaggio invertire l'ordine di mon-
taggio, salvo però che bisogna sostituire le guarnizioni
di carta ed eventualmente gli anelli e guarnizioni di tenu-
ta.

IVELLATURA GALLEGGIANTE
Accertarsi che il galleggiante sia nel peso stabilito ed
indicato sullo stesso, non presenti alcuna deformazione
e ruoti liberamente sul suo perno.
Tenere il corpo del carburatore nella posizione indicata
in modo che il bilanciere galleggiante sia a leggero con-
tatto con lo spillo e lo stesso spillo con la sede.
In questa condizione controllare che i due
semigalleggianti siano rispetto al piano del corpo alla
quota prescritta: 23,5 ÷ 24,5 mm (fig. 07-06).
Utilizzare l'attrezzo di controllo cod. 14 92 69 00 (vedi
Sez.5 cap.1).

I
NSPECTION
Check that the seats and the taper needle are not worn,
that the throttle valve is not damaged, that the float is not
punctured, and that the seal rings and gaskets are in
perfect condition, otherwise renew them. With regard to
the jet orifices we strongly advise against using steel wire
to clean clogged nozzles because this could have a ne-
gative effect on the fuel/air mixing system; for this
operation we recommend the use of nylon filaments or
brass wire.

EASSEMBLY
For reassembly procedures invert the order of assembly,
renew all paper gaskets and the seal rings and gaskets
if necessary.

LOAT LEVELLING
Ensure that the float is of the specified weight as marked
on the part; that it is without any signs of distortion and
that it is free to spin on its pin.
Hold the carburettor body in the position shown so that
the float rocker arm is touching the needle and the needle
is touching its seat.
In this condition check that the two half-floats are at the
prescribed height with respect to the level of the body:
23.5 ÷ 24.5 mm (fig. 07-06).
Use checking tool part number 14 92 69 00 (see Section
5 chap. 2).
