Assigning a Patient to a Stimulator

A patient profile must be associated with the Stimulator before the Stimulator can be programmed.
When connecting to a Stimulator for the first time, a pop-up will prompt the user to input patient
information.
The IPG stores this information and it will be accessible during future programming sessions.
Description
Displays the status of the connections between the CP and
Stimulator. Solid blue indicates a connected status. Animated blue
indicates a disconnected status.
Refreshes the list of Stimulators available for connection (disabled if
the CP is already connected to a Stimulator).
Before connecting to the Stimulator, displays the following:
• Type of Stimulator (Trial Stimulator or Implantable Pulse
Generator)
• Serial Number
Once connected to the Stimulator, displays the following:
• Model Number
• Firmware Version Number
• Stimulator service life information, if within the End of Battery
life or Elective Replacement Indicator (ERI) period for non-
rechargeable Stimulators or within 6 months of the planned end of
service life date for all Stimulators.
Displays Last Name, First Name, and Date of Birth once connected
to the Stimulator. Refer to "Assigning a Patient to a Stimulator".
Disassociates the displayed patient from the connected Stimulator.
Note: Only available when connected to an ETS.
The indicator displays a green filled circle if the Stimulator is
connected to the CP.
Connects or Disconnects a Stimulator. Reads "Connect" when no
Stimulator is connected. Reads "Disconnect" when a Stimulator is
connected.
