Note: If the Stimulator does not have a linked Remote Control, refer to the appropriate Remote Control
manual as listed in your Reference Guide for instructions on Stimulator Search and Linking.
Note: If a Remote Control is not available, see the "Magnet Pairing" for IPG or "Button Pairing" for ETS
sections of this manual.

Magnet Pairing

If a Remote Control is not available to place the implanted Stimulator into Pairing Mode (CP Mode),
you may utilize a magnet. Place the Pairing Magnet directly over the Stimulator for 3 - 5 seconds and
then remove it.
Note: Once the Pairing Magnet is removed, the Stimulator will automatically complete a device
reset cycle. This device reset cycle will take several seconds to complete. During this reset cycle,
the Stimulator will not provide Stimulation and cannot communicate. Once the reset is complete, the
Stimulator will return to normal operation.

Button Pairing

If a Remote Control is not available to place the ETS into Pairing Mode (CP Mode), you may utilize the
button on the side of the ETS.
1. Press and hold the Stimulation Button on the side of the ETS until the lights flash (Figure 6).

The ETS battery indicator light will alternate blinking green and yellow, indicating that
the ETS is in Pairing Mode and is available for connection.

Connecting to a Stimulator

In order to program a Stimulator, you must connect the CP to that Stimulator.
1. Put the Stimulator in pairing mode. See "Placing the Stimulator into Pairing Mode (CP
Mode)."
2. Select the Configuration Expander bar to display the Connect screen.
