6.2.2.3. Daily start up procedure, for equipments with
touchscreen.
When coming from section 6.2.2.1, the first three steps will be
skipped, because they have been already done in the first commis-
sioning. For the daily start up procedure starting from equipment/s
shutdown completely, make all the actions next stated:
• Feed input voltage to the protection panel.
• Turn the input switch or switches «On», depending if it is a single
equipment or parallel system.
• Turn the input switch (Q1a) of the UPS or each UPS «On».
• The touch screen from control panel (PC) of each equipment
will be triggered automatically.
A screen like the one shown next, as mere example, will be
displayed, where depending on the typology of the input and
output mains, single or three phase, the availability or not of the
separate bypass line and depending on its status, the single line
diagram will vary according to them, stating the voltage figures
in each case.

– Parallel Id. 1. It informs about the address of each UPS
with one character. In the example is 1.
– Output switch: Opened. It informs about the position
of the UPS and/or protection panel output switch, with
two status «opened» or «closed» (it is compulsory to
connect the auxiliary contact of the output switch of
the panel according to the indications stated in section
5.2.9.2.).

If during the start up procedure, the «Alarm» icon was
ON in red colour in the lower row of main menu, check
the cause, because if the phase rotation is wrong, the UPS will
not be able to start up.
Always together with any triggered alarm there will be
an acoustic alarm of a single modulation and intensity.
• Proceed as follows:
ˆ Touch over the «Alarm» icon
ˆ Check, if the «Phase rotation: UPS Start up disable» is displayed.

ˆ If this situation happens in a single UPS of the parallel system,
turn the input switch (Q1a) of the equipment and the switch of
the protection panel «Off». Swap two phases of the UPS input
terminal strip and leave the rest one in the same order and
repeat the start up procedure already described.
ˆ If this situation happens in all the equipments of the parallel
system, turn the input switch of each UPS (Q1a) and the input
switches of the protection panel «Off». Swap two phases of
the input protection panel and leave the rest one in the same
order and repeat the start up procedure already described.
• In equipments or systems with separate bypass line SLC
CUBE3+ B:
ˆ Turn the bypass switches of the panel to «On».
ˆ Turn the bypass switches of each UPS (Q4a) to «On».
If during the start up procedure, the «Alarm» icon

UPS will not be able to start up.
ˆ Proceed as follows:
– Touch over the «Alarm» icon
– Check, if the «Phase rotation: UPS Start up disable» is dis-
played.
– If this situation happens in a single UPS of the parallel
system, turn the bypass switch (Q4a) of the corresponding
equipment and the switch of the protection panel «Off».
Swap two phases of the UPS bypass terminal strip and
leave the rest one in the same order and repeat the start
up procedure already described in the three previous steps.
– If this situation happens in all the equipments of the par-
allel system, turn the input switch of each UPS (Q1a) and
the input switches of the protection panel «Off». Swap
two phases of the input protection panel and leave the rest
one in the same order and repeat the start up procedure
already described
– If this situation happens in all the equipments of the par-
allel system, turn the bypass switch of each UPS (Q1a)
and the bypass switches of the protection panel «Off».
Swap two phases of the bypass protection panel and leave
the rest one in the same order and repeat the start up pro-
cedure already described in the three previous steps.
ˆ If everything is correct, the touch screen will display a
graphic like Fig. 40, bridging the gap among the possible
configurations different from III/III and/or separate bypass
feature. In the EL064*01 document, other configurations
are shown as mere examples too.
ˆ Start the inverter of the equipment/s up. To do it, proceed
