Zero Button

Note:
• The Zero function provides a "Gross
Weight".
• The mattress must be removed from
the bed frame before zeroing the
scale.
• In order for the Zero button to be
enabled for use, the weight must be
in a stable state (see Figure 8.1a).
If the bed weight is not in a stable
state, the weight value displayed will
be in the color orange and the text
"Unstable Weight" will be shown (see Figure 8.1b)
When the "Zero" button is pressed on the Scale screen,
Figure 8 . 1 c will be displayed .
If "Ok" is pressed, the bed will start zeroing the scale and
the "Do not touch bed" message will appear as shown in
Figure 8 . 1 d .
If "Cancel" is pressed, the command will be cancelled . If
the bed gets into an auto shutoff at this stage, the Zero
request will be cancelled .

When the "Do not touch bed" message disappears
and zeroing of the scale is complete, Figure 8 . 1 e will be
displayed .
Press the Close button and Figure 8 . 1 f will be displayed .
Note the Zero text . This icon appears whenever the weight
on the bed (Gross or Net) is 0kg +/- 0 .5kg .
Note
The "Zero" function will reset all the values for the different
patient's weights . All the data stored in the touch screen
concerning the weight of the patient will be lost .
