V-BRAKE RIM BRAKE
DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
• The brake linings must be free from dirt, grease and oils at all times, since the
brake output may otherwise rapidly reduce or even be lost entirely.
DANGER
• Check the degree of wear of the brake pads before every ride. When riding
with strongly contaminated brake pads, the brakes may fail entirely!
• Replace the brake pads only with genuine spare parts. Always ensure that
you only use brake pads that are suitable for the rim used (steel or alumini
um). Proper function is otherwise not ensured.
• Replace the brake pads only in pairs, since the brake will otherwise not work
correctly or the brake performance will reduce.

the brake cable.
