GEARSHIFT
SET THE PULL TENSION
When the chain gearshift is set incorrectly, it is often enough to only adjust the pull tension at the
left or right shifting grip:
1. Slightly tighten the screw
2. Check that the gears can be shifted cleanly. If this is not the
case, tighten the screw further. If necessary, also turn into
the opposite direction.
If the chain gearshift cannot be adjusted with the pull tension,
the gearshift must be readjusted.
SET THE SHIFTING GEAR
DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
• If the rear derailleur is not properly adjusted, there may be damage to the
chain and the rear derailleur. The rear derailleur may get into the spokes if
WARNING!
set incorrectly.
1. Switch the chain onto the largest chain ring and the small-
est sprocket of the rear derailleur.
2. Now turn the setting screw H
placed precisely below the smallest pinion.
3. Switch the chain onto the smallest chain ring and the larg-
est sprocket of the derailleur.
4. Again, the guide roller must be placed precisely below the
pinion. If necessary, correct this with the setting screw L
Ensure that the chain never touches the spokes.
5. Adjust the pull tension with the setting screw
must switch smoothly in both directions.
6. Use the setting screw B
pinion. On the larger pinion, the distance between the teeth
of the upper guide roller of the derailleur and the cassette
teeth should be five to seven millimetres.

• If there are any grinding sounds at the front derailleur during the ride,
check the settings of the front derailleur at once. Otherwise, there may be
