TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
DANGER OF DAMAGE AND ACCIDENTS!
• The screws and nuts installed on the bicycle must be checked for tight fit at
regular intervals (see maintenance plan) and may need to be tightened or
retightened to the proper strength. Only this can ensure that the bicycle
DANGER
permanently complies with the safetytechnical requirements and works
properly.
• If screw and nuts are tightened too far, they may break.
• If parts are marked with torque specifications, these must be complied with.
• The torque specifications for other screw connections do not apply to the
adjustment screws at the gearshift and brake components.
The torque wrench permits precise compliance with the tightening torques.
