QUICK-CLAMP
QUICK-CLAMP
DANGER OF ACCIDENT!
• Ensure before starting your ride that all quickclamps are closed with suffici
ent tensing force. If the quickclamps are not closed sufficiently, parts may

come loose.
• The lever of the quickclamp must be completely flush and must not stand
off! Wheel quickclamps and frame quickclamps always must point back
wards for reasons of safety (when viewed in the cycling direction).
• If the quickclamp lever generally can be closed very easily or trusted when
closed, the pretension will not be sufficient. Adjust the quickclamp then.
A quick-clamp comprises a lever
force and a counter-screw
pre-tension.
Release the quick-clamp by flipping over the lever. To close, push
the lever back again until it is completely flush. On the first half of
the closing movement, the lever must move relatively easily; on the
second half, it must move much stiffer. If this is not the case, the
quick-clamp must be adjusted, since it does not have enough ten-
sion.
SETTING THE QUICK-CLAMP
1. Release the lever
2. Adjust the pre-tension with the hexagonal screw
mm hexagonal socket wrench. For quick-clamps with knurled
screw
, you can adjust the settings manually.
