Commissioning and operation

7.1

Making presettings

The following presettings need to be made:

Setting the baud rate

W
Setting the bus coupler address
W
Setting diagnostic messages
W
Assigning the valve supply
W
Setting the bus terminator
W
All of these settings are made using the switch beneath the PG
fittings A and B.
Proceed as follows with all presettings:
1. Remove the corresponding PG fitting.
2. Adjust the corresponding setting as described below.
3. Refit the PG fitting in its original position. Pay attention that
the sealing rings are positioned correctly.
7.1.1 Setting the baud rate
The baud rate is set on switch S3 (see Fig. 8 on page 114). The
switch can be found under the PG screw cap A.
1. Open the upper PG screw cap A.
2. Set the baud rate (transfer rate) with the switches S3/1 to
S3/3 in accordance with the information listed in Tab. 13 on
page 114.
