The detailed information appears in the right half. There, you can now adjust the following settings:
Change the address of the participant ("local IP Address" field)
Set the default gateway ("local default Gateway" field)
Give the device a name or change it ("Device Name" field)
10. Once you have entered the desired settings, click on "Write to Device".
If the "Properties successfully changed" message appears, the settings were saved.
If an error message appears:
Check the entries you made and try to write them to the device again.
If an error message appears again:
Reset the bus coupler power and repeat the procedure from step 7.
We recommend noting the bus coupler MAC address together with the set address. You will
be able to use the MAC address to determine which address is set in the bus coupler during
installation. Alternatively, you can note the set address on the bus coupler, e.g. on the labels
for the equipment ID.
