7.7.5 "Stew" function
You can use the "Stew" function for soups, stews, sauces and braised dishes. The food is heated
continuously at a power level of L03 (low heat).
How to use the "Stew" function:
1.
Touch and hold the On/Off button
display (11) reads "on".
OR
Program the time at which you want the induction hotplate to switch on with this function. See section
"Using the timer to switch on".
2.
Touch the button for the "Stew" function
"Stew" function (10) lights up. The display (11) alternates between showing the power level "L03"
and the remainder of the 2:00 h time. While the remaining time is displayed, the status indicator
above the timer button (17) is also lit. While the power level is shown, the indicator (3) is lit up at the
same time.
If necessary, you can use the boost function at the same time (see below). After the heating
time of 30 seconds at full power, the device automatically switches back to the "Stew"
function.
The power level and cooking time are fixed. You cannot change it.
The "Stew" function cannot be combined with the other functions.
While the "Stew" function is activated, touch the function button M (5) to cancel the
"Stew" function and continue at power level L05.
Once the cooking time has elapsed, the induction hotplate switches off. To cancel the cooking
process completely and switch the induction hotplate off early, touch the On/Off button
briefly.
7.7.6 "Simmer" function
With the "Simmer" function, you can automatically bring your food to the boil and then simmer it gently.
Depending on the temperature, the power switches automatically between power levels L10 and L05 to
prevent the food from boiling over.
How to use the "Simmer" function:
1.
Touch and hold the On/Off button
display (11) reads "on".
2.
Touch the button for the "Simmer" function
"Simmer" function (9) lights up. The display (11) alternates between showing the power level "L10"
and 0:30 minutes of remaining time. While the remaining time is displayed, the status indicator
