7.7 Automatic functions
Your induction hotplate has 8 cooking functions. Some of these cooking functions (e.g. Soup or Milk)
adjust the power dynamically and allow you to conveniently prepare different dishes without constantly
adjusting the heat. Other functions (e.g. Water or Deep Fry) automatically set a time and temperature so
that these settings do not have to be adjusted manually. This allows you to make adjustments faster and
to do other things or simply relax while preparing the food.
7.7.1 "Reheat/Keep-warm" function
When selecting the "Reheat/Keep-warm" function, a time setting of 2 hours and a temperature of 60 °C
are automatically set. This allows you to keep food warm at approx. 60 °C for this period.
You can also softly reheat food. With this function, power is supplied in short intervals to prevent sticking.
However, make sure that you are heating at least 500 g of food (e.g. stew). Otherwise it
could stick to the base of the pan. If you are warming a smaller amount, stir the contents
regularly to prevent this.
How to use the Reheat/Keep-warm function:
1.
Touch and hold the On/Off button
display (11) reads "on".
OR
Program the time at which you want the induction hotplate to switch on with this function. See section
"Using the timer to switch on".
2.
Touch the button for the Reheat/Keep-warm function
between showing "60" and the remaining keep-warm time (starting at "120" minutes). The status
indicator above the Reheat/Keep-warm function button (15) lights up. While the remaining warming
period is displayed, the status indicator above the timer button (17) is also lit. While the temperature
is shown, the indicator (9) is lit up at the same time.
 As the heating power is low for the Reheat / Keep warm function, make sure you put a lid
on the pan. This retains the heat better to warm the food or keep it warm. Otherwise, the
temperature of the food can remain below 60 °C, which can feel cold when you eat it.
 If necessary, you can use the boost function at the same time (see below). After a heating
time of 30 seconds at full power level L11, the device automatically switches back to the
keep-warm function.
 The other functions cannot be combined with the Reheat/Keep-warm function.
 While the Reheat/Keep-warm function is activated, touch the function button M (5) to
cancel the Reheat/Keep-warm function and continue at power level L05.
Once the cooking time has elapsed, the induction hotplate switches off. To cancel the cooking
process completely and switch the induction hotplate off early, touch the On/Off button
briefly.
