10. Troubleshooting
If your induction hotplate does not work as normal, follow the instructions below to try to solve the
problem. If working through the tips below does not fix the fault, please contact our hotline (see
"Warranty information" on page 80).

Cookware is too small in diameter
or not standing centrally on the
heating zone (2).
Cooling fan faulty
Technical fault
Remedy
Connect the power cable (1) to a live
mains socket.
Touch and hold the + (4) and - (18)
buttons for 3 seconds to deactivate the
child lock.
Place a pan on the heating zone (2).
Only use cookware which is suitable for
induction hotplates.
Place a pan on the heating zone (2).
Only use cookware which is suitable for
induction hotplates.
Only use cookware with a base
diameter of between 10 and 22 cm
and place it on the centre of the heating
zone (2).
The cooling fan may be faulty. In this
case, contact our hotline. See the
"Warranty information" on page 80.
