Make sure the ON-OFF switch (3) is in the OFF position.
•
Connect the clamps (19) of the power cable (18) to the battery respecting the poles.
CAUTION!
The moment the ON-OFF switch (3) is pressed in the ON position, the tool starts working immediately. Be
sure to position the tool away from people or property. Failure to comply with the warning is potentially
dangerous for operator safety.
If you have a 21.6V lithium plug-in battery, insert it as shown below.

Take the battery (24) out of the package
•
Make sure you only use batteries that are compatible with the product (see par. 2.2);
•
Ensure that the battery-side and tool-side contact terminals (20) are undamaged and clean;
•
Proceed by inserting the battery (24) into the guides (21) on the underside of the plug-in handle (2) as far
as it will go, while holding down the safety catch (23).
•
When the battery reaches the end of its stroke, release the safety catch (23) to obtain a mechanical lock
signalled by a click.
