4.2 APPLIED DIRECTIVES AND TECHNICAL STANDARDS
Every product destined for countries within the European Union (EU), or countries for which there is an
agreement with the EU regarding product legislation, is supplied with a Declaration of Conformity in accordance
with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
The product supplied by CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. does not belong to one of the categories of machinery listed in Annex
IV of Directive 2006/42/EC, therefore for the purposes of the attestation of conformity of the product with the provisions
of this directive, CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. shall apply the conformity assessment procedure with internal checks on the
manufacture of the product as set out in Annex VIII of Directive 2006/42/EC.
NOTE
In the case of supplies of products in non-EU areas, unless otherwise contractually agreed between the parties,
CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l., for the purposes of product design and manufacture, conforms for the applicable parts, and in
accordance with the state of the art, to the ISO, IEC standards applied to the product.
The product has been designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the following EU directives:
Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC concerning the approximation of the laws of the member states relating

to machinery.
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU (for products falling under it)
➢
Directives 2012/19/EU and 2011/65/EU
➢
Technical standards listed in the declaration of conformity.

4.3 PRODUCT CERTIFICATION
The product comes with:

Declaration of Conformity pursuant to Directive 2006/42/EC
➢
Declaration of Conformity pursuant to Directive 2014/30/EU
➢
Declaration of Conformity pursuant to Directives 2012/19/EU and 2011/65/EU
➢ The product is provided with a rating plate, as stated in par. 4.4
4.4 CE MARKING
The CE plate/label (Figure 1) bearing the manufacturer's name is attached to each product/tool and bears the
following data and symbols:
1) CE conformity marking according to directive 2006/42/EC.
2) Company name and complete address of the manufacturer.
3) The compulsory requirement for all personnel in charge of use and/or maintenance of the product to
read the use and maintenance manual.
4) Tool designation.
5) Product type: Type name/sales code.
6) Serial number.
7) Year of manufacture, i.e. the year in which the manufacturing process was concluded.
8) Information pursuant to "WEEE" Directive 2012/19/EU: Electric and electronic waste may contain
hazardous substances for the environment and human health and therefore must not be disposed of
with domestic waste, they must be collected in dedicated collection centres.
9) Tool supply voltage.
