4.9 NOISE
Noise measurements were carried out in accordance with EN ISO 3744 acoustics and related standards.
The product does not have sound protection.
Sound power level values expressed in dB(A) are given in paragraph 2.2 of this manual.
The use of sound absorbing personal protective equipment (ear muffs) is prescribed for personnel who are in
the vicinity of the product or during maintenance activities with it running.
It is the user's responsibility to take the relevant preventive and protective measures in accordance with the
legislation of the country in which the product is used.
CAUTION
The user is responsible for assessing the noise risk in the workplace and for applying the resulting
preventive and protective measures, in compliance with the legislation of the country where the product is
used.
DANGER
Acoustic protection devices must be used when standing near the product or during adjustments.
It is compulsory for all personnel working on the product to wear earmuffs for both functional and
maintenance purposes
4.10 DISPOSAL OF SPENT MATERIALS
The product in its normal operation does not lead to environmental contamination, but during the entire period of use,
certain types of waste or spent materials are nevertheless produced under particular conditions (e.g. grease/oil from
lubrication of mechanical parts or plastic parts that may have come into contact with them) that require proper disposal.
There are specific regulations in every country about environmental protection, including how to dispose of these
materials. The Customer must be aware of the laws in force in their country and operate in compliance with these laws
and the instructions provided in the technical data sheets of the products used.
CAUTION
Please remember to comply with the laws in force regarding the disposal of mineral oils and/or products
with which they have come into contact.

More information about the disposal of oils and other substances can be found in the safety data sheets
of the substances.
The steps employed in the disposal of toxic waste including the collecting, transporting, processing (transformation for
recycling), as well as the depositing and the dumping onto the ground are all usual activities of common interest and
are subject to the following general principles:
a) Any risks of injuries or dangers for the health and safety of any individual and of the community have to be
avoided.
b) Compliance with any and all hygienic-sanitary requirement and avoidance of any air, water, ground and
underground pollution have to be guaranteed.
c) Compliance with efficient and economical principles in order to save and recycle energy and materials shall
be promoted.
