NOTE
FOR THE TYPE AND LOCATION OF THE WARNING PLATES APPLIED ON THE PRODUCT, PLEASE REFER TO
SECTION 4.17. THIS SECTION LISTS AND IDENTIFIES THE WARNING, PROHIBITION AND MANDATORY
WARNING SIGNS WITH THEIR EXPLANATIONS.
1.5 PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
The personnel in charge of use and maintenance, who carry out the various activities permitted on the product,
must use personal protective equipment (PPE), in order to prevent all possible risks/damage resulting from the
execution of the various operations, such as:
helmet to protect the head;

safety goggles or mask to protect against splinters, dust or dirt from the process;
•
safety gloves, shoes and/or boots to protect personnel against risks such as crushing, shearing,
•
cutting, etc;
Noise-proof earmuffs.

CAUTION
The clothing of those operating or performing maintenance on the product must comply with the essential
safety requirements defined in Regulation 2016/425/EU, Directive 89/656/EC and any laws in force in the
country where the product is used.
DANGER
When carrying out work that may result in the projection of splinters or materials that are dangerous to
oneself or other persons working at close range, the operator must provide, or request from those in
charge, screens or other appropriate safety measures.
DANGER
During management and maintenance operations, personnel must wear appropriate work clothes to
prevent accidents from occurring.
In order to avoid mechanical hazards such as drawing-in, entrapment, shearing and others, it is forbidden
to wear accessories such as bracelets, watches, scarves rings or chains during work and during
maintenance operations.

Lithium-ion batteries can explode, cause fires or generate undesirable thermal
effects such as 'Thermal Runaway' (*) if disassembled, short-circuited,
damaged or handled improperly. Do not expose to water, fire or high
temperatures.
Do not dispose of batteries in water, bury them or generate environmental
contamination. Follow the instructions in the manual for proper disposal.
Do not throw batteries into a fire and do not expose them to heat sources,
such as heat generated by heaters, flames, lasers, inductive sources, etc.
It is forbidden to expose the product to any source of direct or indirect heat.
This indicates a requirement for operators and maintenance personnel to
always read the user and maintenance manual (UMM) before any activity
(unpacking, assembly/installation, use, maintenance, etc.) and/or any
interaction with the product.
