The product is therefore not suitable for working in the following types of environments:
-
explosive or partially such
-
classified as fire or explosion hazard
-
where corrosive atmospheres are present
-
where classified gases and/or dust are present
-
with a fire risk from any material or ignition source
• It is absolutely forbidden to use it in any of the environments listed above.
4.13.4 BLINDING
Risk present at all stages of use and during maintenance and cleaning.
When working with the product, it is absolutely forbidden to stand in the vicinity of the head so as to avoid
the risk of projecting objects and fragments of the process.
When using and cleaning the product, personnel must wear appropriate protective goggles.
CAUTION
The use of eye and face protection is mandatory.
4.13.5 FALLING, PROJECTING OBJECTS
Avoid leaving work tools and objects unattended, even temporarily, to prevent them from falling or being
ejected
During use and/or maintenance activities, avoid pointing the harvesting head at others or at yourself or
others to avoid the risk of projection of processing residues and/or lubricants.
During harvesting activities, there may be a risk of the product being dropped and/or thrown.
CAUTION
The use of face (protective shield) and body protection is mandatory for all operating and
maintenance personnel.
4.13.6 SLIPPING
Any leakage of lubricants due to the lubrication of the connecting links can cause the personnel in charge of use
and operation to slip.
Risk also present in the case of non-compliance with requirements/conditions of use.
In order to avoid the risk of slipping, the tool should only be used from the ground in a safe and stable position, ensuring
perfect and stable balance during use and handling.
CAUTION
Access these areas with non-slip shoes and keep them clean at all times. Carry out periodic inspections
according to use.
NOTE
The conditions of the work site (slope, surface, etc.) are not taken into account in this risk, please
refer to paragraphs 3.1 and 3.2 for the additional requirements given, remembering that it is the user's
responsibility to carry out a risk assessment of the work site and the correct conditions of use of the
product.
4.13.7 WHIPLASH EFFECT
Beware of kickback and upward bouncing movements generated by tools during harvesting operations. They
may cause the operator to lose their balance or control of the tool.
