5. NOTES ON TRAINING

COOLING DOWN

. This exercise stretches our thorax and shoulders ( ll. V).
Suspension trainer length: medium
Starting position: Stand up straight
facing awa from the attachment point.
our feet are a shoulder width apart.
Take one step forward with our left food
and extend our arms at our sides to
shoulder height. Move our torso forward
until ou feel the stretch in our chest and
arms.
Sequence of movements: Stretch our
left arm up and let our right arm sink. Rotate our torso to the right and look at our
right hand. Then stretch our right arm up, rotate our torso to the left and look at our
left hand. Repeat this exercise with our other leg. Repeat this exercise
Tip: Breathe deepl . ress our back heel firml on the ground, bend our front knee
and tense up our buttocks to stretch our hips and calves.
2. Hip squat: This exercise stretches our back ( ll. W).
Suspension trainer length: short
Starting position: Stand up straight,
facing the attachment point. Extend our
arms to the front.
Sequence of movements: Move our
pelvis forward and keep our knees
slightl bent. Hold this position for
seconds and repeat this exercise
Tip Make sure to keep our torso
extended.
