C - Prise d'une charge haute sur
pneumatiques
En aucun cas vous ne devez prendre
une charge si le chariot élévateur n'est
pas à l'horizontal (Voir paragraphe : G -
HORIZONTALITÉ DU CHARIOT
ÉLÉVATEUR dans le chapitre : MANU-
TENTION D'UNE CHARGE).
- S'assurer que les fourches passeront
facilement sous la charge.
- Approcher le chariot élévateur perpen-
diculairement à la charge et les
fourches à l'horizontale (Fig. G), en
manœuvrant doucement et prudem-
ment (Voir paragraphe : E - VISIBILITÉ
dans le chapitre : INSTRUCTIONS DE
MANUTENTION pour la visibilité sur le
parcours).
Toujours penser à garder la distance
nécessaire pour engager les fourches
sous la charge, entre la pile et le chariot
élévateur (Fig. G) et utiliser la longueur
de flèche la plus courte possible.
- Amener les fourches en butée devant
la charge (Fig. H). Serrer le frein de
stationnement et placer le levier d'in-
verseur de marche au neutre.
- Lever légèrement la charge (1) et incli-
ner le tablier (2) vers l'arrière pour sta-
biliser la charge (Fig. I).

Under no circumstances should you
pick up a load if the lift truck is not in a
horizontal position. (See paragraph : G -
HORIZONTAL POSITION OF THE LIFT
TRUCK in the chapter : LOAD HAND-
- Ensure that the forks will easily pass
under the load.
- Position the lift truck perpendicular to
the load with the forks in a horizontal
position (Fig. G) manoeuvring gently
and carefully (See paragraph : E -
VISIBILITY in the chapter : HANDLING
INSTRUCTIONS for visibility of the
road).
Always think about keeping the distance
necessary to fit the forks under the load,
between the pile and the lift truck (Fig.
G) and use the shortest possible
length of jib.
- Stop with the forks in front of the load
(Fig. H). Apply the parking brake and
place the forward/reverse lever in neu-
tral.
- Slightly lift the load (1) and incline the
forks carriage (2) backwards to stabili-
ze the load (Fig. I).

En ningún caso se debe tomar una
carga cuando la carretilla elevadora no
se encuentra a lo horizontal (Véase
párrafo : G - HORIZONTALIDAD DE
LA CARRETILLA ELEVADORA en el
capítulo : MANIPULACIÓN DE UNA
CARGA).
- Comprobar que las horquillas se intro-
ducirán con facilidad por debajo de la
carga.
- Acercar la carretilla elevadora perpen-
dicularmente a la carga con las hor-
quillas en posición horizontal (Fig. G),
maniobrando delicadamente y con pru-
dencia (Véase párrafo : E - VISIBILI-
DAD en el capítulo : INSTRUC-
CIONES DE MANIPULACIÓN para la
visibilidad durante el recorrido).
Acordarse siempre de conservar la dis-
tancia necesaria para introducir las hor-
quillas por debajo de la carga, entre la
pila y la carretilla elevadora (Fig. G) y
utilizar la longitud de brazo la más corta
como posible.
- Colocar las horquillas en tope delante
de la carga (Fig. H). Apretar el freno de
aparcamiento y colocar la palanca del
inversor de marcha en neutro.
- Elevar levemente la carga (1) e inclinar
el tablero (2) hacia atrás para estabilizar
la carga (Fig. I).
