Reassembly of vehicles
Notes concerning reassembly
On this chapter there are illustrated the main
operations of reassembly which require special
tooling and expendients. Operations easily executed
using standard
screwdrivers, wrenches,
pliers
etc.
are
not demonstrated; likewise there are not illustrated
the operations already carried out on the chapter
«Dismantling» as these operations are carried out with
a viceversa procedure.
On reassembly check that al
l
parts are clean and
carefully examined
.
The following points shou ld be strictly adhered to:
-
The
crankcases
and hub case half should not be
cracked or deformed; the bearing seats should not
be damaged or
worn.
-
Ball
bearings check that they are in perfect
conditions hand not excessive
axial
and radial plays
appear; check their smoothness by wheeling them
by
hand:
if after the cleaning (washing in gasoline).
roughness appears on the rotation
,
replace them.
When reassembl ing grease the bearings with
ESSO
BEACON 3 or
similar greases.

Drawn cup roller bearings:
for each reassembling
operation use new drawn
cups,
by observing the
following rules:
Wash the new drawn cup in neat gasoline (petrol) or
in paraffin to eliminate the slush; after the
greasing,
place them with the side on which is stamped the
mark facing towards the
outside.
For their fitting operate as indicated on respective
figures by using the proper tooling.

Shaft and axles:
bearing and sliding surfaces have
not to present indentations and abrasion so that a
good running is
compromised.
They shou ld be
suitably lubricated.

Gears:
check the conditions of the toothing
,
if it
presents some spallings or an excessive wear
replace
with
new parts.

Always use
new
gaskets,
split pins and lock
washers.
Zusammenbau der Fahrzeuge
Anweisungen fUr den Zusammenbau
In diesem Abschnitt sind die hauptsachlichsten
Arbeitsgange des Zusammenbaues wiedergegeben,
fUr die Spezialwerkzeuge oder besondere Umsicht
erforderlich sind
.
Leicht auszufOhrende Arbeiten
,
die mit
Schraubenziehern, SchlL.isseln,
normalen
Zangen usw. ausgefUhrt werden oder die klar
ersichtlich
sind,
werden nicht aufgefUhrt. Analoger-
weise werden auch die in dem Abschnitt
«Ausbau»
schon aufgeflihrten Arbeiten nicht
illustriert,
weil sie
in umgekehrter Weise ausgefUhrt werden konnen
.
Seim Zusammenbau daraut
achten,
daB die Teile
sauber und in Ordung sind und besonders
daB:
-
Gehausehalften
keine Risse oder Verformungen
aufweisen; Lagersitze nicht beschadigt oder abge-
nutzt sind
.
-
Kugellager:
nachpnJfen,
dass sie in perfektem
Zustand sind und kein allzuhohes Rad ial - und Axial
- Spiel aufweisen: Es ist ratsam, sie mit der Hand zu
drehen,
und
nachzupnJfen,
ob sie einwandfrei
gleiten.
Wenn die
Lager,
nachdem man sie in Senzin
gut gewaschen
hat,
nicht gut
gleiten,
ersetzt man
sie. Seim Wiedereinbau Lager mit ESSO BEACON
3
oder gleichwerfigem Fett einfetten.

Nadelhl.llsen: Sei jedem Zusammenbau neue
Nadellager einbauen und folgende Vorschriften
beachten:
Die neuen
Nadellager
in reinem Senzin oder
neutralem Petroleum waschen
,
um den Rostschutz
zu entfernen
.
Nadellager einfetten und
einbauen,
wobei die
Kante,
auf
der
die Markierung steht, zur Aussenseite
gewendet ist.
-
Wellen und Achsen:
die Gleitflachen und Lauf-
bahnen durfen keine Einkerbungen
aufweisen,
die
eine gute Funktion beeintrachtigen
konnen,
u.
mussen
entsprechend
gesch
miert
werden.
-
Zahnrader:
Auf VerschleiB pnJfen
,
wenn die
Verzahnung Ausbruche oder ubermaBige Abnut-
zung
zeigt,
durch neue Telle ersetzen.
-
lmmer neue Dichtungen, Splinte und Sicherungs-
bleche benutzen.
Montage des vehicules
Notes
concernant
le montage
Dans ce chapitre on a illustre les
operations
principales de remontage, pour lesquelles ii taut un
outillage specifique et une particuliere
adresse.
Les
operations d'execution facile qui peuvent se faire
aisement avec tournevis,
clefs,
pinces
usuelles,
etc.
ainsi que les operations deja indiquees dans le
chapitre «Demontage», par rapport auxquelles
ii
taut
suivre le procede inverse ne figurent pas ici.
Lors du remontage contr61er la proprete des pieces
et l'etat d'usure des
memes.
Se rappeler en particulier que:
- Les
semi-carters
ne doivent pas presenter des
lesions ou des deformations et les sieges des
roulement des abrasions.
-
Roulements
a
billes:
verifier qu'ils soient en
conditions parfaites et
qu'i
ls ne presentent pas des
jeux axiaux
et
radiaux
excessifs;
ii est bon d'en
contr61er qu'ils tournent librement en les faisant
tourner a
main,
si apres le nettoyage (en essence) ils
tournent avec difficulte les
remplacer.
Au montage graisser les rou lements avec
ESSO
BEACON 3.

Douilles
a
aiguilles:
a
tous les remontages
employer des douilles
neuves,
en observant les
normes suivantes:
Nettoyer la doui lle avec de !'essence pu re ou du
petrole neutre pour eliminer l'antirouille de
protection;
apres le
graissage,
la placer avec le cote sur lequel
on a estampille !'indication de classification face a
l'exterieur.
-
Arbres
et
axes:
les surfaces de glissement et de
roulement ne doivent pas presenter des crans et des
abrasions tels que le bon fonctionnement soit
compromis;
elles doivent etre lubrifiees convenable-
ment.
- Engrenages: Contr61er l'etat de la
denture,
s'il y a
des ebrenchements ou une usure excessive rempla-
cer avec des pieces
neuves.
- Se servir toujours de joints, de goupilles et de
freins
d'ecrou
neufs.
